| Heating & Cooling 101 |
The typical central air conditioning system is a split system, with an outdoor air conditioning, or "compressor bearing unit" and an indoor coil, which is usually installed on top of the furnace in the home.
Using electricity as its power source, the compressor pumps refrigerant through the system to gather heat and moisture from indoors and remove it from the home.
Heat and moisture are removed from the home when warm air from inside the home is blown over the cooled indoor coil. The heat in the air transfers to the coil, thereby "cooling" the air.
The heat that has transferred to the coil is then "pumped" to the exterior of the home, while the cooled air is pumped back inside, helping to maintain a comfortable indoor temperature.
Central air conditioning can also be provided through a package unit or a heat pump. |

The Goodman gas furnace delivers warm, money-saving indoor comfort year after year. Variable and multi-speed furnaces can provide enhanced indoor comfort by slowly ramping-up to your thermostat setting rather that simply turning-on at full speed. This alleviates the ‘cold air blow’ often associated with single speed furnaces. Choose from a full line of Goodman brand gas furnaces that many agree offer the best warranty protection in the heating and cooling industry. To find a gas furnace that delivers maximum energy-efficiency savings, select a unit with the highest AFUE rating. |

Confortmaker is known for its reliability. Direct Hot Surface Ignition
System features an advanced silicon nitride igniter for years of reliable
starts. The RPJ® III primary heat exchanger is made of corrosion-resistant
weld-free stainless steel. The unique integrated ripple-edged design forces
more heat to the outside surface area for higher efficiencies. The two-stage
redundant gas valve, two-speed induced draft blower assembly, and variable
speed motor operate normally at the lower stage and ramp up as needed.
The Variable speed circulation blower motor is pre-lubricated, dynamically
balanced, and resilient mounted. |

The Copeland® features a quieter, lower stage, changing over to the higher
stage at higher outdoor temperatures to produce more cool air. A deluxe
sound blanket also reduces compressor sound levels. The galvanized steel
cabinet features a coated inlet grille with narrower spacing to provide
maximum protection as it allows for proper airflow and easy coil cleaning.
The Copeland® scroll compressor and the 7 mm copper tubing with aluminum
fin coils work collectively to save on energy. The two-speed fan motor
operates most of the time on quieter, lower speeds. |
